A meaningful quotation is built from the product, target, output, pack, machine configuration, line interfaces and project services. This guide explains the factors without inventing a standard price for an application that has not been defined.

Equipment scope

The weighing head is only one part of the installed solution.

Configuration choices can include the number and volume of hoppers, product-contact finish, dispersion and feed arrangements, timing hopper, discharge chute, support frame or gantry and access for cleaning. These choices should be driven by the product trial and the downstream packer.

Product configuration

Piece size, bulk density, fragility, oil, dust and target range influence hoppers, surfaces and feed settings.

Mechanical integration

Elevators, feed hoppers, platforms, chutes, timing hoppers and access can form a significant part of the project.

Controls and project services

I/O, HMI, diagnostics, inspection, documentation, FAT, installation, training and site support all need a defined boundary.

One quotation may include product feed, platform, controls and commissioning while another covers only the weighing head. Compare exclusions, interfaces and acceptance evidence as well as the headline total.

Send product and pack samples, target weights, required output, layout, available height, utilities, integration details, cleaning expectations, project timeline and the acceptance method. Unknown information should remain clearly identified rather than being converted into an unsupported assumption.
